I am originally from Afghanistan but have been living in Christchurch for the last 18 years.

 

I have been working in the refugee resettlement sector for a few years and I am passionate about creating better change for all those who come to call Aotearoa home.

 

It is a blessing to work alongside members of the Muslim community who are also passionate about helping others and fostering a strong sense of our Muslim identity for all members of the community.
